Susan, I'm confused by the second one. I understand the background image. The forground reflected image is? I see a woman standing inside a pagoda, maybe, but the forground rocks throw the scale to something small, like it was made for a fish tank? Help me out, it's really unclear.
One image is the window to the pagoda of the Asian gallery [Metropolitan Museum NY] and the second is rocks near the koi pond within that same gallery.
I was looking to create an emotive feeling of peace in the viewer which is the the feeling I get when I view it rather than specific details. Thanks for your comment. Susan
